Philosophy
Montessori Education is child-centered learning approach, by Dr. Maria Montessori, an Italian physician and scientific pedagogy, which has been accepted for over a century around the world. The Montessori method believes that the children are naturally capable and eager to learn at their own pace.
The environment which is also called “The house of children: Casa dei Bambini” is adorned with scientifically designed materials which enhance the ability of children to discover and explore knowledge by themselves. Physical, emotional, cognitive and social development of children will be gradually and firmly nurtured to become valuable global citizens.

Prepared Environment
The prepared environment is a Montessori concept of a carefully organized setting for a child to learn with scientifically designed materials and the help of trained Adults (facilitator, directress). Children have freedom of choice to move around and choose the material and their workplace. Child-oriented,
child-friendly furniture, workplace, materials accessible and appealing to the child are designed for appropriate learning environment.

Community
The mixed age group environment encourages the older children to be proud role models, while the younger children learn and are inspired by the work around them. In the environment work (prepared and observed by Adults),
each participant always learns something from one another which results in a marvelous society.

Child as an Individual
The concept of respecting each child as an individual, different learning styles, scope of interest, differing pace of progression are all acceptable in Montessori education. The Adult’s role is an observer, guide and preparer of the environment through the curriculum for each child, free to explore the materials to build in all the areas of Montessori philosophy.
